About Alyssa

Hi, my name is Alyssa, currently in Astoria, and I have plenty of experience working with children. Most recently, I worked at a summer camp for the last two months, organizing fun activities and ensuring the safety of all the girls in my division. Year-round I am a special education teacher for children on the spectrum. I also studied psychology in my university and specialized in children's psych and developmental psych, which gives me the educational background to better understand kids' thoughts and feelings and teach socioemotional skills. I have a great passion for helping kids grow and learn while also having fun, and I look forward to the opportunity to do so!
