Being around children and helping care for them is one thing I absolutely love about my life. I have been working with children in various positions for over 18 years. Once I finished high school, I realized I wanted to be a nanny. For the past 15 years, I have enjoyed being a nanny and loved working for many great families. I have worked with children ages 3 months+ and enjoyed my time spent with every one of them. Since I have worked with so many children, my interests in children's games and activities have grown. I love being outdoors, playing sports, singing, dancing, story time, Lego, dress-up, puzzles, arts and crafts, and so many other activities that kids enjoy. Keeping them happy is what I live for. When I am with children, I do my best to show them that I am their friend while at the same time making sure I am firm and still follow the parents' rules. This really helps build a strong bond with the family to make sure everyone is happy, safe and comfortable.

Alyssa was the full time nanny to my son from when he was 6 months old until he started a 2s program full time. She is extremely loving, sweet and trustworthy and had such an incredible tight bond with my son; he was always so happy being with her. She taught my son so many things and always provided helpful insight about his development that she had researched or learned in child development classes. She is an excellent communicator and made sure to share videos and photos throughout the day. She is very connected to our community and made sure my son got lots of social time with other kids his age and was out and about every day. Alyssa worked for us for a year and a half and was never late once and always willing to accommodate our schedules (including meeting us at our son's doctor's office, the playground, staying late, etc.) She is very professional and reliable.
