About Alysia

Animals have always been a part of my life. I grew up in a home with both dogs and cats, so caring for animals has always come naturally to me. Today I work at an animal refuge where I spend my days around dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. My role involves being hands-on with the dogs throughout the day, helping care for them, handling them safely, and doing everything I can to help expose them to potential adopters so they can find their forever families. I do a little bit of everything to help keep the refuge running smoothly and support the staff in getting the dogs adopted. Outside of work, I also house sit and care for family pets, helping maintain routines with feeding, walks, and attention. Being around animals every day is something I genuinely love.
