About Alysa

Hi! I provide babysitting in my home in a calm, structured, and safe environment. I care for children alongside my own 5-month-old baby, so I'm looking to care for children who are already mobile (walking age and up). This helps ensure a safe and compatible play environment for everyone. I have experience with different age groups and enjoy helping children learn, play, and stay active in a home setting. I do not offer in-home (client house) babysitting, all care is provided in my home only. I like working with kids because kids are direct and real in a way adults aren't. They don't really do the filtered, overthinking, social-performance thing. That can feel refreshing, like you always know where you stand with them. I started working with kids beginning around age 6 when I helped care for my younger sister. By age 12, I was regularly responsible for caring for my sister and brother until age 16. In my spare time, I like to draw, paint, learn new skills, cook and bake!
