A career of caring for young children made for an easy switch for me to care for my own parents 24/7 when their need arose. I learned to be available without being intrusive. To be helpful without being pushy. To allow them to live life on their terms. I have a college degree and hold current certifications in CPR and First Aid. My approach is patient and friendly. I focus on understanding each person's unique history and preferences. I adapt to changing routines and de-escalate stressful situations. I follow each family's preferred communication methods to keep them informed. I offer respite care, transportation, errands, companionship, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and mobility assistance. Now that my time with my parents is over, I'm eager to bring my skills and caring nature to your family, ensuring your loved one feels supported and valued.
