I started tutoring in high school as part of the AUHSD's AIME (Anaheim Innovative Mentoring Experience) program, wherein I tutored students in high school math and science. I have since continued tutoring within my own network, for family and friends of family alike. I like tutoring because as a child of a single and low income mother, I saw early on the importance of having a team of support to pursue academic excellence. I view tutoring as my way to pay it forward, opening doors for students to achieve excellence in their own unique ways. I'm looking for a job that is flexible, communicative, and well prepared. Whether it be babysitting or tutoring, I would like to know about the unique kids I'm working with so I can best serve your family.
