About Althea

Nurturing young minds is my passion. My seven years of experience caring for children of all ages, from infants to pre-teens, has solidified my commitment to fostering their growth. I hold a college degree and am comfortable caring for up to four children at a time. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I am patient, creative, and friendly, and I enjoy playing outdoor games, board games, and educational activities. I am very comfortable enforcing household rules and communicate with parents using their preferred method, whether it's a quick chat at pickup or regular updates via text. Supporting families and providing reliable care is important to me. I would love to bring my enthusiasm and dedication to your family. I am a current Medical Assistant Monday-Friday, and have worked as a birthday party host, substitute teacher, and tutor. I am excited to bring my experience and dedication to this work.
