I have over 27 years of experience caring for the elderly in their homes as well as in facilities. I am experienced in various nursing settings such as hospice care, Alzheimer's/Dementia, Acute care, and Critical care. I am passionate about my job because I enjoy taking care of and spending time with the elderly. I've stayed in this field for as long as I have because it doesn't feel like a job to me, it is something I really enjoy doing.

Althea was a wonderful caregiver to my 99 year old mom who lives in our home while I recovered from surgeries. Althea rendered personal care, companionship, brought my mom down for meals with the family. We did not expect her to do laundry, make beds, and vacuum. She went above and beyond and was always 2-3 steps ahead of me. Althea is considerate, ambitious and devoted to caring for seniors as well as their families. We trusted Althea in our home with and without our presence. Althea accompanied mom and me to appointments and was extremely helpful as I had restrictions on lifting.
