About Althea H

Hello! I am a patient and enthusiastic aspiring educator, looking to gain one-on-one tutoring experience! I earned a bachelors degree in Environmental Science from Smith College. I have lots of experience with ecology and biology research at the college level, as well as strong writing and analytical skills from my English literature minor. I feel comfortable tutoring in multiple disciplines, but especially English, language arts, French, biology and music. I have played violin since I was 6 years old, and am especially passionate about passing along my love of music and art to students. I have two younger siblings, and have several years of experience in informal child care settings. It would be an honor to be your child's tutor! I am hoping to become a teacher one day, and this would be an extremely helpful milestone in my journey.
