About Althea H

Hello there! My name is Al, and I have been working with kids in various capacities since elementary school. I am the second oldest of 4 children, and caring for my younger siblings was the first step in my childcare journey. Since then, I have worked at multiple summer camps, babysat for families in my community and worked at a Waldorf pre-K. I consider caring for kids and fostering their enthusiasm, passion, creativity and imagination one of the things I am most passionate about. My dream is to one day become an elementary school teacher, but for now look forward to working with kids outside the classroom environment. In my free time I love making art, reading, and being outside. I like working with kids because of the unique and hopeful way they view the world. I love listening to their stories, witnessing their vast creativity and imagination, and creating all kinds of adventures with them. Working with kids makes me feel incredibly fulfilled, and brings me endless joy.
