About Alora

I have had an interest in young children's curiosity for the world around them for many years! While I was in college I studied psychology and specifically childhood psychology is a great interest of mine. I am a big advocate for neurodivergent children, and I am very intrigued by both Montessori and Waldorf style education. I have worked with a wide array of ages of children, from 12 months old- 12 years old. I believe children thrive with structure, so I try my best to keep up a routine that works best with the children in my care, I follow their lead! Some of the important things I try my best to foster in children is responsibility, the ability to self-soothe through coping skills, literacy, and creativity! My favorite activities to do to increase those values I have are reading, singing, dancing, and sensory play. I would love to both bring my skills to a family, and also grow and learn with them as well!
