I enjoy working with children, and it comes naturally and easily to me. I have 10+ years of paid childcare experience mainly with infants to children age 11. I especially enjoy infants and toddlers because it is such a critical mental and emotional developmental time for them, and I love being part of that process. I have a Bachelor's in Applied Sociology with a Concentration in Marriage and the Family, and my MA in Sociology is in progress.

Alora was a fantastic nanny for our son from the time he was 11 months - ~2 years old! She came into our lives shortly after Covid-19 started and was an incredibly calm, reliable, punctual, and professional during an unpredictable and tumultuous time in our lives. She's amazing with kids and helped our son so much developmentally! She stimulated him with activities, read to him, helped us with sleep training, and helped him become the highly verbal, curious, and social toddler he is today. As a first time Mom, I learned a lot from Alora about how to introduce potty training and how to gently handle difficult toddler behavior. She's very respectful, responsive to feedback, and communicative and had a great connection with our son. Our son and whole family adore her and making the decision to have our son start school was only difficult because we had such a great nanny for him! We look forward to having her babysit our son moving forward!
