I would also volunteer to read, write poetry or stories, as well as sing with different guests. I was never assigned to anyone in particular however, with my bubbly personality and joy to make new friends I quickly found true companionship with the people I cared for. Alondra has an excellent record of dependability and reliability. She meets commitments despite obstacles (on our parts, not hers). She has never failed us and has brought more "to the table" than I have ever experienced in any other caregiver. She follows care plan. Gives my 92-yr old husband with Parkinson's Disease her undivided respectful attention. He adores her and has always looked forward to her return each day. Alondra offers consistent care. And is always looking for appropriate steps to continuously improve service to him. She goes above and beyond to provide extraordinary care. She keeps a daily journal and provides good handoff communications. She maintains professional boundaries, yet has become family to both of us (husband and wife). This amazing woman has great common sense, is well-educated and just plain smart and innovative. She consistently identifies ways to achieve the best possible outcomes. Another strength is her effective, open communication and empathetic listening skills. We are so grateful and blessed to know Alondra.
