About Alondra

I'd describe my personality as empathic, friendly, supportive. I like working with kids because I understand the important impact that parents, professionals, and anyone working closely with children have on the development of a child. I enjoy making a positive impact on our younger generation and supporting their growth. Helping children meet their goals and supporting their needs is incredibly meaningful to me. When working with children I do my best to foster an inclusive and supportive environment while keeping safety and well-being as my top priority. I started working with kids when I was a junior in high school. I babysat for family and friends. Additionally I also volunteered with the youth during my high school years through programs such as the San Mateo County Sheriffs Activities League. I have held various volunteer positions where I've worked with children ages 4-12. My volunteer experience includes Outdoor KidsOT and Cal Poly Humboldt's Youth Educational Services.
