I wholeheartedly and without reservation recommend Alma as a caregiver. She has been an exceptional member of our caregiving team, providing dedicated and compassionate support to my husband during his recovery from a bone marrow transplant at City of Hope. From the very beginning, Alma stood out for her professionalism, reliability, and warm, engaging personality. Alma consistently shows up with a positive attitude, ready to work, and fully present for her responsibilities. She is proactive and resourceful—always finding thoughtful ways to support my husband’s needs without needing to be asked. Whether it’s assisting with medication, engaging him in conversation, or just keeping his spirits lifted with her humor and kindness, Alma goes above and beyond. What truly sets Alma apart is her balance of care and competence. She communicates clearly, works collaboratively, and brings a refreshing level of conscientiousness to everything she does. Unlike others I’ve worked with in the past, Alma takes initiative and genuinely connects with her patient, treating him with dignity and patience.
