My name is Alma. I have experience in baby care for 26 years. I have one girl aged 21 . I have references. I am responsible.

Alma came on very short notice to help care for my 2 year old niece who was visiting us.  My niece had not been left with many strangers before, and Alma handled her beautifully -- my niece didn't want Alma to go at the end!  Then, a week or so later, my 18 month old got sick and couldn't go to daycare, so we called Alma (again, very short notice) to come help watch her while we were working.  She again faced a tough situation because my daughter was sick and not very interested in being with a stranger.  But Alma took her on long stroller rides and kept her as happy as possible while we got our work done.  She is punctual, knowledgeable, amazing with kids, and goes the extra mile -- cleaning up and doing laundry around the house.  Will hire her again in a heartbeat!   

Alma nannied for our daughter from 7 months till she turned 1. Alma was a delight around my daughter, always playing and active, singing, reading, dancing, interacting, feeding (thawing breast milk, preparing formula and starting with solids), setting a nap schedule. My daughter was always clean and happy with her. They seemed to be having a blast all the time. Alma made sure that the playroom and toys were always clean, baby's laundry was done and put away, diaper pails were emptied when needed and diaper bag and baby's swim bag were stocked as needed. I remember in the first month after hiring her, I had to travel for work, and Alma took such good care of my daughter that it made me feel less anxious. Alma also made sure she taught good manners like wiping the mouth after eating, saying please and thank you, not eating food that is fallen on the floor. Unfortunately our schedules didn't work, otherwise we would have continued with her. Hire her, she is the best!

We hired Alma to watch our two little ones (1yr and 3yr) for a date night.  She was right on time, was really paying attention to the kids and did a great job of building up the rapport.  She texted us a couple photos with the kids smiling and having a good time which really put our minds at ease.  When we got home, the house was picked up and much nicer than before we left.  Everything was quiet and peaceful with the kids in bed when we got home.  She is obviously great with kids and really on top of things.  We definitely would hire her again and would recommend her.  

Alma cared for my infant daughter full time for three months after I returned to work and before moving abroad.  My daughter was 8 weeks old when Alma started caring for her.  During that time Alma arrived to work on time with a full tank of gas in her car and she never cancelled unexpectedly.  My daughter was always happy to see Alma because she did an amazing job playing and talking with her during the day.  While my daughter was sleeping, she would wash her bottles or run a load of laundry which was very helpful and appreciated.  I would love to have Alma's help again after we return from overseas.

Alma is nice, caring and responsible. She is smart and goes beyond what you've asked for. Unfortunately her schedule did not fit my needs. I will highly recommend her.
