Part-time Activities Aide in assisted living facility in memory care and general populations. My daily mantra is to give at least a moment of peace to at least one person every day. I had a CNA certificate from 2014 but let it lapse last year since I want the time to work one-on-one with people to make them feel seen, heard, and safe. I have experience keeping people interested and engaged. I know the importance of patience, consistency, and integrity to reach an individual and gain their trust so, together, we can work to build self confidence, to be self advocates, and explore how to improve the quality of their lives. I love to sing and know Music from the 1920s to the 1970s. I'm even in a band where I'm the youngest at 62 and the drummer is 80 yrs old!
