About Allyson

I'm an experienced caregiver who genuinely loves working with children of all ages and needs. I started with the Rockford Park District and local youth organization before joining a community center, where I worked as an Inclusion Counselor supporting children with behavioral needs and disabilities in camp settings before moving into leadership roles, including School Age Area Coordinator overseeing after school programs across 23 schools and 3 summer camps. I currently babysit regularly for two children under two and am very comfortable with infants, toddlers, routines, and busy environments. I also volunteer with Rosie's Birthday Club helping throw birthday parties for children who may not otherwise get one. I'm the author of Paula the Koala, inspired by Camp Hope, a camp for children who have experienced abuse and trauma. I'm also an animal lover who has adopted pets and volunteered with local shelters.
