About Allyson

Hi! I'm Allyson. I'm a special education teacher for 7th-9th grade and have over seven years of experience working in childcare. Before teaching, I worked in several daycare settings caring for children ranging from 6 weeks to 12 years old. Those experiences helped me develop patience, flexibility, and a strong understanding that every child has unique needs. As a special education teacher in my third year, I'm experienced in supporting different learning styles and creating a safe, encouraging environment where kids can learn, grow, and have fun. During the school year, I'm looking for night or weekend babysitting opportunities, and I'm also hoping to find a consistent position for the summer. I have reliable transportation and am happy to take kids to activities or plan fun things for us to do together.
