About Allyson

I'd describe my personality as creative, hard working, with attention to detail, and flexible. I like working with kids because it's rewarding to help them meet milestones and watch their personalities blossom. I'm looking for a job that provides flexibility and structure. I want to be able to have a work-life balance, giving 100% to children in my care while I'm with them, and my family during the time I have with them. I started working with kids when I was 16. I have worked with all ages from 6 weeks to PreK. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family, and I run a small business, providing art classes for young children. One thing you should know about me is I am dedicated. I believe in strong, straightforward communication, and work hard to maintain open communication. My skills include knowledge of early childhood development, as well as being well versed in positive discipline. I also believe in building trusting relationships with the children in my care.
