About Allyson

My love for working with children began at a young age as a babysitter. I soon discovered that teaching was my passion so I obtained a Bachelor's of Science in Education and began teaching children with multiple disabilities. I later obtained a Master's Degree in Collaborative Teaching. I retired after teaching grades K-6 for 33 years in the Baldwin County Public Schools. I decided to go back to my beginning days of child care. I accepted a position for a family as their nanny and loved it. They have recently relocated and I miss them! So, I thought I would give it another try. I currently have background clearance, hold an active Alabama Teaching Certificate, and have a clean driving record.
