About Allyson

I've spent 5+ years working hands-on with animals in animal hospitals, boarding facilities, and shelters, so I'm very comfortable in busy, hands-on environments that require flexibility and quick thinking. I've administered various types of medications, handled cleanups (nothing phases me!), and over time and experience developed a strong ability to read behavioral cues to keep animals safe and comfortable. I'm confident managing different temperaments, from anxious dogs and cats to high energy personalities, even those dominant furbabies who prefer to be the only one around! Outside of animal care, I've also helped raise my disabled sister for much of my life, which has made me patient, attentive, and deeply compassionate. Supporting her has strengthened my sense of responsibility and my ability to stay calm, adaptable, and nurturing in all kinds of situations with children in multiple age groups.
