About Allyson

Hi there, I'm Allyson! I am from the Raleigh area and have lived in Wilmington for about 11 years. I'm currently a graduate student at UNCW. My background in psychology sets me apart as a caregiver because it gives me a thorough understanding of child development, emotional needs, and behavior which fuels my deep passion for understanding and supporting child development and well-being. I lead with empathy, patience, and compassion, always tuning in to each child's unique personality and developmental stage. I believe in helping children learn and grow through fun, creativity, and meaningful connection. With over 10 years of experience, I've cared for children of all ages, from 3 months to 12 years old. I've also had the opportunity to manage groups of up to 8 children at once, creating safe, engaging, and positive environments where kids can thrive.
