About Allyson

Ally has been my child’s full time nanny since February of 2023. It is difficult to express in words just how incredible Ally is and how much she has contributed to our family. On a practical level, Ally is consistent, dependable, punctual, professional, proactive, and communicative. She checks every box one might have on paper. On a deeper level, Ally’s presence is calming and intuitive. She is intuitive to the point where she might know the family’s needs before we do. She pays attention to where things go and she knows what we’re low on in groceries. She has taken my child to doctors appointments and picked up her prescriptions. She has coordinated coverage for when she’s out of town, and coordinated drop off and pick ups when we (parents) are out of town. She shows up every day ready to go and always has a plan. She keeps consistent schedules, but remains flexible. She handles awkward situations with grace (like me trying to give my daughter a tape necklace and Ally very professionally letting me know that it was a hazard). It wouldn’t let me click child care and pet care, but when the whole family is out of town she will watch our pets too and she’s fabulous at that. After more than 3 years with Ally I could write a novel on how amazing she is.
