About Allyson

I am passionate about caring for the elderly and helping their families when times get tough. I am reliable and flexible with scheduling. I have many years personal experience and 2 years of paid experience. I have experience taking care of clients with dementia, diabetes and COPD. Cooking them meals, keeping track of their medications and treatments, helping with mobility and hygiene. I am mainly a companion, keeping them safe, calm and keeping track of all the things they can't. I spent a lot of time at my grandma's assisted living in high school. It was a blessing to spend so much time with her and I've carried those skills and values into my work life. My family feels the same, my mother and brother are caregivers as well. In my spare time I watch movies or read on the couch with my dogs, garden, paint, do puzzles, go to concerts or watch NASCAR with my friends.
