About Allissa

Hi! My name is Allissa, and caring for children has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. My mother has been a nationally accredited Maryland family child care provider for 23 years! I have grown up by her side, learning firsthand how to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children of all ages. In February 2023, I became a Maryland State Department of Education, Office of Child Care Certified Substitute. My experiences have equipped me with essential knowledge in child development, health and safety, and behavior guidance. But beyond the certifications, what truly drives me is my love for working with kids. I enjoy helping them learn, grow, and discover new things. Whether helping with homework, preparing light meals, playing games, or simply being a caring and reliable presence, I am committed to providing the kind of care that puts both children and parents at ease.
