About Allison

Hello! My name is Allison, and I'm passionate about helping students reach their academic goals. While I don't have formal paid tutoring experience, I've tutored peers throughout high school--both through school programs and independently--and love helping others gain confidence in their studies. I maintained excellent grades, scored highly on the ACT, and took several test prep courses, giving me a strong understanding of study and testing strategies. I excelled in English, especially writing, and began college as a math major before switching to education to pursue my love of teaching. I currently work as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with children with autism, which has strengthened my understanding of special education and individualized learning. I strive to make learning encouraging, approachable, and stress-free for every student!
