About Allison

I'm Allison! I've spent almost 28 years working in higher education, supporting students through some of the toughest academic transitions there are. My most recent work was as a Learning Specialist at a medical school, where I helped students build sustainable study habits, prepare for high-stakes board exams, and get back on track after a setback. I know firsthand how overwhelming it can feel when a student is struggling and no one seems to have a clear answer why. That's the gap I fill. I don't do generic tutoring, I start by figuring out exactly what's getting in the way, whether that's a study system that isn't working, an application that needs a stronger story, or simply not knowing what path to choose next. Then we build a plan together.
