About Allison

I'm a mom to a 14month old boy and have a strong background in childcare and special needs support. Before becoming a mom, I worked as an Educational Assistant, where I spent several years supporting children and young adults with a variety of special needs, including nonverbal communication. That experience taught me patience, adaptability, and the importance of meeting each child right where they are. I hold a degree in Public Health and value proper stimulation and playtime as part of a child's healthy development. I believe kids thrive best in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment--something I strive to create every day. Because I'll have my son with me, I'm looking to connect with a family who would love for their child to have a playmate a few days a week. If care is in my home, I do have child-friendly dog who adores kids. I kindly ask that children in my care are up to date on their vaccinations, as I want to provide the safest environment possible for everyone.
