I'm an experienced respite caregiver with a background in special education and hands-on experience supporting individuals with a variety of needs. I currently provide respite care for a young person with autism and a seizure disorder, including experience with scripting, stimming, communication differences, daily routines, and providing patient, individualized support. I also have experience caring for seniors with aphasia, mobility limitations, and personal care needs. I'm comfortable assisting with hygiene and daily living activities, providing transportation, preparing meals, keeping clients engaged, and helping maintain a safe and supportive environment.
