About Allison

Howdy :) My name is Allie, and I am an aspiring nurse midwife. I am in school part time now working towards my DNP. I grew up in Northern Wisconsin and moved to CO when I was 18 to obtain my undergraduate degree from CU. After graduating with a degree in Biology, I moved to Montana and worked in rural labor and delivery for 2. 5 years. I began nannying/babysitting when I was 16, but I really fell in love with babies in that lovely rural hospital. I have experience caring for children of all ages, and I am looking for a part time gig as I move through my higher education! I'd describe my personality as fun, warm, and energetic I like working with kids because they're authentic and curious. In my spare time, I like to enjoy the great outdoors, do yoga, go to concerts, hike, and ski. One thing you should know about me is I love humor! Life can be strange, and we have to move through it giggling.
