About Allison

Empowering young learners to reach their full potential is the core of my teaching practice. With 10 years of experience as a Certified teacher, I specialize in English and Special Education for elementary students. I hold a graduate degree and maintain certifications in Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and Student accommodation plans (504). I believe every student possesses unique strengths, so I actively observe your child's interactions with new material to tailor my approach. Whether using visual aids or hands-on activities, I break complex problems into manageable steps to build momentum. I prioritize building confidence and fostering a genuine love for learning through consistent positive reinforcement. Clear communication with you is essential to our collaborative success. Nothing brings me more joy than watching a student's confidence grow as they master new skills. I look forward to supporting your child's journey in the comfort of your home.
