About Allison

I honestly don’t know how our home functioned before Allison joined us. We were running a business from the house while navigating remote school for our kindergartener and wrangling a high energy 4-year-old. She came in and somehow made all the chaos doable again. The most incredible thing about her is her initiative. She arrived at 8:30 AM sharp every single day, let herself in quietly, and just started. I never had to give her a to-do list. She mastered our routine instantly; making two different breakfasts for the kids, getting our daughter to her Zoom classes by 9:00 AM, and simultaneously keeping our son engaged and happy. Allison facilitated this delicate dance all day long. She switched between educational support and active play, made healthy snacks like popsicles from our fruit trees, and handled the constant transitions of a hybrid school day. Beyond the childcare, she kept our home running. Mountains of kid laundry, daily dishes, and the thorough Friday vacuuming she did before she left for the weekend are some of the things we really appreciated her taking on. She even found the time to deep clean our gas stove once when my parents were in town and the kids were busy for 20 minutes. She is pragmatic, incredibly calm under pressure, and has an intuitive sense of how to anticipate needs before they even come up. Anyone needing extra support in their home would be fortunate to have Allison around.
