Hello! My name is Allison and I am a seasoned childcare provider located in San Diego. I hope you see that I am comfortable working with people of all ages and abilities. I have been working with children since 2016 since I got my first role as a swim coach. Since then, I have worked primarily in outdoor education-so I love to take your kids outside to play! I have experience as a substitute teacher in schools as well, so I am versed in many elementary and middle school teaching methods. In these roles, I have work with all ages and abilities. My educational background is in social work, earning me a Masters. While my primary social work experience is with adult mental health in crisis, I was able to work with very diverse families and clients all while practicing evidence based care and rapport building. When I'm not working I love to hike, climb, surf and play board games! I have a clean driving record, my own car, and insurance. I hope you'll consider me for your family!

Ally was wonderful with our two boys age 14 months and 2.5yo. We have plenty of toys of course but she brought her own backpack full of goodies. She worked with my older son on his potty training and helped soothe my youngest when he was having trouble with teething pain. She provided updates throughout the day when we were gone and left us a log of all the food they ate and all the times my oldest used the potty. We would absolute recommend ally and hope to have her back soon :)
