I am a doctor of physical therapy student, so I have many different experiences with the special needs populations. I have worked with young adults with Autism, children with physical disabilities such as CP, muscular dystrophy, spina bifida, etc. I have worked in physical therapy settings with these populations, as well as camp and school settings where I have taught swim lessons and participated in art classes. Working with the special needs community is something I am interested in my studies as a physical therapist, so I am excited to work for this population throughout my studies!
