About Allison

I am experienced in working with children in all ages through nannying, babysitting, and other jobs involving working with children. Currently, I am getting my Master's in Social Work at VCU and plan to continue working with children in the school setting after graduation. My passion is in working alongside families to ensure that their children are receiving good care and a nurturing environment. I am CPR and first aid certified and have 2 years of nannying/babysitting experience and 2 more years of experience working with children in the foster care system or who are at risk of being placed in the foster care system. I believe in working with the family and flexibility with the families and children's needs. I like to foster a fun, creative, imaginative environment and do activities that are enriching for children while also ensuring that household rules and schedules are maintained.
