About Allison

I'd describe my personality as creative, confident, and enthusiastic. I like tutoring because high fives of accomplishment and moments when a student's face lights up with understanding are to be treasured and repeated. I'm looking for a job that supports my desire to educate, explore creativity, and help and connect with others at their level and speed. I started tutoring when I was moved to the honor's classes in middle school in the mid-90s. In my spare time, I like reading mystery/thriller novels, working on upcycling projects, and rewatching Marvel movies. One thing you should know about me is I LOVE pets but am allergic to cats when 2 or more are present. My skills include lesson planning, creating activities and worksheets (I have Canva Pro), and incorporating interests into lessons to increase student participation.
