About Allison

Hi, I'm Allison! I'm a mom, a former art teacher, and a life long learner. I am seeking a full time nanny position for one child. I have a 15-month-old daughter who would tag along. It is important to me that I work with a family that is fully onboard with this arrangement. I am eager to discuss the logistics with you. I have been a babysitter, nanny, camp counselor, teacher's aid, and teacher. I have experience with ages 0-14 and children with special needs. My favorite ages are the toddler years when children are always learning! I have a degree in Psychology and a minor in Art Therapy. My education has given me an understanding and empathy for the challenges that children face on a daily basis. I like to incorporate art activities to foster self regulation, emotional expression, and identity. I am a mentor for Big Brothers Big Sisters. I lead a book club with a small group of women. I also enjoy going for walks, spending time with family, and all things arts and crafts!
