About Allison

I am a mom of 2 grown children. I was a stay-at-home/homeschooling mom while they were growing up. I have experience babysitting newborn to school-age children, including newborn twins. I've taught children of all ages in VBS and other classes at church. And I've been a houseparent for teen girls. I love kids of all ages & love to see them grow and learn. I like to encourage reading & to do arts and crafts with the kids. I encourage outside play & going for walks. And I believe in limiting tv/screen time. I like to follow each family's schedule, so that naptimes, meals, bedtimes, etc stay the same as they would with the parents home. I am looking for a family to work with regularly and I also do occasional date-night sitting & weekend sitting, if that is what you're looking for! Please contact me for more info and references.
