Education is my passion. I am endlessly fascinated by what kids discover. I first started babysitting almost 40 years ago and am now an elementary school teacher with a master's degree in curriculum and instruction. My university professors gave me the John Dewey award for exhibiting the most child-centered practices of my graduating class. I am committed to cultivating creativity and innovative thinking. My two teenaged children and I enjoy exploring farms, gardens, and beaches, as well as libraries, aquariums, and museums.
