About Allison

I contacted Allison based on her profile on care.com. My son is autistic and requires specialized care which is difficult to find. Allison has had specialized training with autistic children and was the perfect fit for us. My husband is in the military, so we had to move away from the area, so she only cared for our son for about a year off and on when we needed her before we moved. As anyone familiar with autism knows, it is difficult to build meaningful relationships, but our son trusted Allison right away and so did we. He thrived in her care and I am so sad that we had to move otherwise, I would have asked her to move in full time if she didn’t have her own family to take care of! Allison is warm, caring, nurturing and very intelligent. She was supportive of our child’s needs and formed a very special bond with our son who does not normally form bonds quickly. I would absolutely 100 % recommend Allison to anyone looking for child care or for care of a loved one.
