About Allison

Growing up, I looked after some of the kids in the neighborhood, and my little sister. When I was 16, I decided to become a Sunday School teacher at my church. I had a small group of about 6 kids for whom I was responsible. I've assisted my mother from time to time at the church preschool also. One day I was helping her I swiftly assisted a special needs child in coming back to earth from a meltdown by asking him to point out things of a certain color. Furthermore, I nannied two elementary school aged girls during my junior year of high school every day after school for a few hours until their parents came home. I helped with homework and kept them entertained. Most recently, I worked at Betsy-Jeff Penn, a 4-H camp in Reidsville. There I worked as a lifeguard. My responsibilities included assisting the counselors in the cabins overnight, teaching the children how to kayak, conducting swim tests, cleaning the cabins, and of course actively watching over the children swimming.
