About Allison

Hi there! I'm Allison - a passionate tutor, grad student and Sign Language Interpreter. I tutor children and students ages 2-18 in math, reading, and language development. I strive to take a warm, creative, and affirming approach that helps kids feel safe, confident, and curious. I've worked with children across a range of needs and learning styles, including students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing, nonverbal, autistic, or have Down syndrome, learning delays, or speech delays. I love incorporating sign language as a tool for connection, communication, and body-mind awareness. Whether we're building early literacy skills, exploring numbers, or learning new words, I make sure every session is engaging, encouraging, and tailored to your child.
