About Allison

Summer babysitting! I graduate from UM in May with a degree in psychology and I am available all summer. I have babysat kids age 6 months to age 16 and I have watched up to 10 children at a time. I have a clean driving record and I am CPR certified. While babysitting some of my tasks have included providing transportation, preparing meals and snacks, bathing and dressing children, changing diapers, putting kids to bed and helping them complete homework. I have done laundry for families and I have also done overnights. I am great at finding things to do other than watch TV because I was raised without it! When I babysit, I enjoy playing outside, dancing, art projects, reading and just being silly. I have a variety of work experience in working with kids in addition to my babysitting experience. I have worked as a ballet instructor for kids ages 3-10. I focused on providing positive feedback and corrections to each and every student with enthusiasm and respect. I have worked at a children's nursery with kids ages 3-4, changing diapers and playing different games. I have even worked in retail at a children's boutique! I have recently been involved teaching a Flashmob dance to junior high students at C. S. Porter. We performed at the Southgate Mall recently with eight other schools and it was so much fun!
