About Allison

My name is Allison, a resident of Santa Barbara. I have been a caregiver for 10 years working in disparate environments to include private in home one on one care, multiple client homes weekly via an agency and working in a memory care facility. I have worn multiple hats from caregiver, med tech to supervising caregivers. My greatest attribute is patience. Duties performed are transfers using both Hoyer lifts and gait belts. Dispensing & Medication reminders, bathing, dressing, meal prep, feeding, toileting, wound care, light house keeping including changing bed linens, laundry.. etc. Monitoring vitals blood pressure, pulse oximeter, blood sugar, temperature. Running errands/ Shopping/doctor's appointments. I have experience with clients that have mild to severe Dementia/Alzheimer's, COPD, advanced stage Multiple Sclerosis, and Hospice. Certifications: American Caregiver Association HHA certified, BLS Certified, First Aid/CPR Certified. Car & Insurance.
