About Allison

Learning alongside students is my passion. For seven years, I have been a certified teacher, helping elementary students thrive in math, English, and special education. I create an engaging, supportive, and patient learning environment, focusing on building confidence and fostering a love for learning. I actively listen to students and observe their interactions with new material to adapt my teaching methods. I also vary my teaching strategies, such as using visual aids, hands-on activities, and practice problems. I break down complex problems into manageable steps and encourage curiosity. Regular communication with parents builds trust and reinforces learning at home. Seeing a student's confidence grow as they master new skills is incredibly rewarding.
