Hi! My name is Allison and I am currently a social worker in children's services as well as a mental health counselor at an inpatient facility. I graduated with my degree in psychology, and overall just love helping people and animals! I have a 10-year-old dog and a 2-year-old cat myself that I take care of. I have also helped out with pet sitting dozens of times and enjoy spending time with your fur babies! Allison is all the things you want: responsible, mature, dependable, a self-starter who LOOKS for ways to help, whether it be with the high-energy kids or the cluttered, messy house. Within two visits, she had established a rewards system with my boys (ages 6 and 9) that involved positive reinforcement for good behavior and they loved it. To top it off, she regularly unloaded the dishwasher and helped with the laundry (I'd come home to her saying, "I folded the load in the dryer and started the next load," without me having even asked. She was incredible!). She is also smart, cool, and all around awesome. I am so sad we had to suspend her employment due to Covid. Obviously, I HIGHLY recommend her.
