About Allison

Empowering elementary students to reach their full potential is the cornerstone of my teaching practice. I have 22 years of experience Special Education teacher, and I am Orton-Gillingham trained and ASD Nest trained. I am currently a SETSS Teacher. I believe every student possesses unique strengths, so I focus on building confidence through personalized support rather than rote memorization. By utilizing visual aids, hands-on activities, and consistent positive reinforcement, I create an engaging environment where even the most challenging concepts become manageable. I prioritize open communication with families to ensure we are aligned on every student's progress. Whether we meet online, at the library, or in your home, I am dedicated to celebrating the small successes that lead to mastery. Watching a student's confidence grow as they overcome academic hurdles is truly the most rewarding part of my work, and I look forward to supporting your child's journey.
