About Allison

Hi! I'm 29 and a singer-songwriter living in Jersey City after being in NYC for 5 years. I have always loved working with kids. I was a camp counselor for 3 summers and I was a twice a week babysitter for a 7-year-old girl for 3 years before moving to the city. I nannied a 13-year-old girl with special needs for 2 years until their financial situation changed. I helped with school pickup 3x a week for an 8-year-old girl for 2 years but decided I needed more consistency. Currently I nanny for a family of 3 kids (girls 11 & 8, and boy 6). I cook meals and make lunches daily, handle carpooling and coordinate all after school activities and additional babysitters, do laundry and light cleaning in 2 apartments. I love being creative with kids - playing games, doing art projects, sing along, etc. I was in higher level classes throughout my school experience so I've always enjoyed helping kids with their homework as well. I'm fully vaccinated. Excited to meet you!
