About Allison

I'm currently working in higher education as a disability services professional. I've taught 2nd grade for 3 years previously. I also have taught high school Autism for 2 years and Elementary Special Education for 2 years. In high school, I babysat off and on for a family of 2 girls for around 4-5 years. The girls were approximately 2 and 5 when I started. I've also worked as a Supervisor for a summer Parks and Recreation job for 7 years with children ages 6-12. For Parks and Recreation we do sports, crafts, field trips, and games so I'm experienced entertaining kids with all of the indoor and outdoor activities. With my 6 years of teaching experience, I'm also happy to tutor students needing extra support in any area (reading, math, writing, phonics, etc.). I additionally have a Masters in Special Education and am comfortable supporting kids who may require additional training or understanding.
